No. Get your options and a firm price first, then apply if you would like to spread the cost. Financeit’s approval is needed before we begin work on a financed job.
Your quote shows the monthly payment, the purchase amount (your total price with taxes) and the APR (the yearly cost of borrowing, as a percentage of the loan). It also shows the term (how long your rate and payment stay locked), the amortization period (how long the loan takes to pay off) and a one-time administration fee. Financeit’s consumer page explains each of these. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada advises understanding a loan’s total cost before deciding, and notes that the longer you take to pay a loan off, the more it costs.
Set aside a few minutes to finish the application in one sitting, because in our experience an application left half finished is what holds financing up. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada says lenders generally ask for proof of a regular income, a bank account and a permanent address. It also says most lenders run a credit check when you apply.
Financing is provided by Financeit, a third party lender. Approval and terms are set by Financeit. It is on approved credit, and terms apply. Once your loan is in place, you manage your payments through your Financeit account.
